Application for Candidates for Councilors of PSJ

Application for the Councilors of the Physiological Society of Japan (PSJ) is accepted every year with a deadline at the end of January. If there is a candidate in your laboratory whom you think is appropriate, please encourage them to apply.

Requirements for Councilors

Individuals among the regular members who satisfy both conditions (1) and (2) below may apply to become candidates for Councilor.

(1) Applicant must have been a regular member for at least three full years, have at least five years of research experience in physiology or a relevant field, and have presented achievements in physiology or a relevant field.

(2) The applicant must be recommended by a Councilor as being qualified for the position.

(3) Additionally, individuals specifically recommended by the Membership Committee may also be eligible.

Applications submitted by candidates will be reviewed by the Membership Committee, deliberated by the Board of Directors, and finalized at the General Assembly held during the Annual Meeting of PSJ.
