About the Physiological Society of Japan
Regular Members, Student Members, Supporting Members and Special Members
Regular Members
Scientists who have educational, research, or practical experience in physiology or in a related scientific field.
Annual rate ¥10,000 for regular membership. Send the Membership Application Form to the PSJ office.
Student Members
Members pursuing a course of study in physiology or in a related field
Annual rate ¥3,000 for student membership. Send the Membership Application Form to the PSJ office.
Supporting Members
The Physiological Society of Japan also offers supporting membership for commercial companies and institutions. Contact us at psj@imic.or.jp to join.
Honorary Members
When a distinguished foreign scientist who has greatly contributed to the Physiological Society of Japan is nominated by a council member (or a group of council members), the council will grant that scientist honorary membership. Honorary Members pay no membership fees and receive all membership benefits, except the right to vote. >>Honorary Members
Special Members
When a distinguished Japanese physiologist who has contributed to the Physiological Society of Japan for a long term is nominated by a council member (or a group of council members), the council will grant that physiologist fellow membership. Members in this category pay no membership fees and receive all benefits of membership. >>Special Members
